In the beginning, there was a song, and it was good. So sayeth the Carol. The Carol got lonely and created a second Carol, and it was also good. Then the two Carols set about creating many more Carols, experimenting with tone and timber, pitch and pace, and key and chord until there was a multitude of Carols. And it was very good. And they became known as The Almighty Chorales to which we pay homage by singing them and bringing joy to those that hear them. And it is good
